Steam ironing / Ordering of accessories
• Adjust the position of the fabric knob
according to the fabric that has to be
ironed.
• The warning light indicates that the iron
is warming up.
• Please wait until the control light on the
iron has gone out and the ready indica-
tor on the steam cleaner lights up (see
also page 22).
• Hold the iron over a piece of cloth or an
appropriate container and press on the
steam switch on the iron until the
system has warmed up and no more
condensation comes out of the iron but
steam comes out instead. Now the
system is ready for use.
When the iron was produced, resi-
dues might have been deposited in
the hose. Please rinse (steam) the
system two to three times thoroughly
before ironing your clothes.
• When selecting the temperature, plea-
se note the manufacturer's care
instructions on your garments or the
information on the garment labels.
• You can use the iron without steam or
with steam by pressing the steam
switch on the iron.
• The steam can be steplessly controlled
on the steam cleaner (please also refer
to page 22).
• Please try various steam pressures and
gain experience over a period of time.
• When steam pressing clothes, we
recommend that you hang the clothes
on a clothes hanger.
