Application and function
The steam cleaner makes a new type of thorough and hygienic cleaning possible.
The steam used here thoroughly dissolves the dirt without using any additives or other
chemicals. Hot steam cleans forcefully in a natural way.
Water is brought to the boil in a boiler and a steam pressure of approx. 4 bar is genera-
ted. The steam, which has a temperature of approx. 140°C is directed to special brushes
and jets through a flexible hose and applied to the surface to be cleaned. A cleaning cloth
attached to the brush soaks up the dissolved dirt.
Safety has been taken care of
The steam cleaner has been equipped with a safety valve which automatically reduces
any excess pressure which might occur. When the steam pressure of approx. 4 bar has
been achieved, the heater is switched off automatically. In addition, any excess pressure
which might be generated if the pressure continues to rise, is automatically directed away
through the safety valve.
If the water has been completely used up the boil dry protection device automatically swit-
ched the device off.
Applications
The steam cleaner has been equipped with an accessory system as standard. This is
used to perform many cleaning and ironing tasks which occur in a domestic situation,
e.g.:
floors:
tiles, stone floors, plastic floor coverings
( Care should be taken with fitted carpets, carpets and parquet)
ceilings:
metal elements, solid wood ( Attention: might swell up)
walls:
tiles, wood, plaster, washable wallpaper, panelling
( careful if they have been sealed)
glass:
windows including frames, display windows, display cabinet
( careful in the case of large temperature differences –
the glass could break)
Upholstery:
furniture, cars, boats (attention: check colour fastness)
Curtains:
materials, shower curtains
( attention: check that they are steam resistant)
Sanitary facilities: taps, baths, shower basins, shower walls, toilets, saunas
Kitchen:
kitchen cupboards, sinks
Accommodation:
country-style beams, chimney stones, blinds, furniture made of
solid wood or coated in plastic, window sills
Car:
dashboard ( attention: thin plastic will bubble)
upholstery ( attention: check that it is steam resistant), door hinges
Iron:
all material which can be ironed
