Not all spaces meet the present insulating values. According to DIN 889, the following values can be taken for
the volume of the space to be heated:
If heating circumstances are favourable:
In less favourable circumstances:
In unfavourable circumstances:
For temporary heating you may assume a reduction of 5% for the volume to be heated if the interval is more
than 8 hours.
