Clean the filter and pump/replace the
impeller
NOTE
Do not use chemical cleaning agents as
these can be harmful to your plants and the
environment.
• Only use clean water or special cleaning
products for aquaria.
The filter and pump must be cleaned regularly.
Pull out the plug and remove the filter from the
aquarium. If the impeller in the pump is worn,
replace it.

1. Remove the pump from the filter.
2. Remove the pump housing.
3. Remove the impeller and clean or replace
it.
4. Perform the procedure in reverse order to
reassemble the device.
