positioned
The lid is not on the carafe
Carafe was removed for
more than 20 seconds while
the unit is brewing
Using too much coffee
grounds

size
Paper filter collapsed
There was a power outage

Paper filter collapsed
The amount of water gets
lost in wetting the grounds
and through evaporation
during the brewing process
Solution
Decalcify the coffee maker
Close the filter basket correctly
Be sure the carafe is centered directly under the filter
basket
Place the lid on the carafe
Carafe should be replaced promptly after removing
Remove filter from the filter basket. Replace the paper
filter with a new one. Restart the coffee brewing
process with proper amount of coffee grounds (not
more than 10 coffee scoops or tablespoons)
Use only coffee that is ground for drip coffee makers
Use paper filter # 4
Rinse filter basket, set paper filter into the filter basket
and restart brewing
Wait for power to be restored
Rinse filter basket, set paper filter into the filter basket
and restart brewing
Carafe indicates the water capacity and not the
