6. LOOKING FOR FAULTS

Before doing anything else:
1. Place a Maintenance sign near the machine.
2. Before starting up the machine, make sure nobody is carrying out maintenance or cleaning operations.
3. Small checks and electrical repairs should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
4. Mechanical repairs should be carried out by the nearest authorized technical support centre.
Below is a Troubleshooting table for maintenance personnel.

MAINTENANCE
MODE and REQUIREMENTS
Use suitable instruments to measure the insulation re-
sistance of the motors and make sure it complies with
national regulations for the country where the machine
is installed.
Use suitable instruments to measure the power draw
of the each motor power line. Values outside a range of
10% mean the motor is faulty.
Check for any loosening. Tighten where necessary.
What to do
Contact the power company.
Eliminate the cause and reset the fuse or cut-out.
If the problem persists, contact an electrician.
Eliminate the cause and reset the device.
If the problem persists, contact an electrician.
Restore power.
Switch to " ON "
Replace fuses and check thermal cut-outs.
Check the START pushbutton
Wait for the machine to completely cool down before re-
starting
