    Please read these instructions carefully before using the magnifier for the first time and observe our safety, cleaning and care information. General information Your magnifier contains a lightweight plastic lens made by SCHWEIZER from optically pure Plexiglas ® Computer-optimised aspheric surfaces provide clear edge-to-edge images and ensure optimal use of the entire field of view.

    Safety instructions Fire hazard! Never leave your magnifier out in the sun uncovered. The intensifying effect of the lens can start a fire. Risk of injury! Never use the magnifier to look at the sun. Do not look directly at the light source of illuminated magnifiers. Avoid mechanical impact or shock such as banging or dropping your magnifier, and ensure it is not exposed to moisture or to high temperatures.

    Battery safety instructions Your new magnifier uses a built-in lithium-polymer battery that is charged by induction. We place our batteries on the market in line with legal requirements. Please read the points below on the safe disposal of our batteries: To prevent harmful effects to the environment and health, used batteries must be disposed of properly at recycling centres or returned to the point of sale.

    Charging the ERGO-Lux i mobil with the charging pad Connecting the charging pad Connect the charging pad and USB cable to a USB power adapter or any other suitable USB port. The indicator light at the front of the charging pad then turns green.

    If the magnifier’s light is left on while charging, it takes longer for the battery to charge and the light may flicker. It takes approx. 3 hours to fully charge the ERGO-Lux i mobil. Handling and storing the inductive magnifier To use the magnifier, simply remove it from the charging station.
