3. SMP-94RZ1 Zone Selector Module

3.1.1. Reset push-button.
When changing the configuration of a SMP-94RZ1, it is
necessary to press Reset so that the system identifies the new
configuration.
3.1.2. Power supply input.
The SMP-94RZ1 is power supplied through these two contacts.
3.1.3. Start/Stop input contact.
This contact enables the SMP-94RZ1 to read the control
information that is sent by the SMP94RZ through the parallel
BUS.
3.1.4. Zone selection inputs.
The zone activation binary code is received through these
eight contacts (b0 - B7).
3.2. REAR VIEW (figure 6b).
1. Number of zone configuration Dipswitches (Section 3.2.1.).
2. Output contacts (Section 3.2.2.).
3. PRIORITY input contacts (Section 3.2.3.).
4. PROGRAM input contacts (Section 3.2.4.).
3.2.1. Number of zone configuration Dipswitches.
By means of these Dipswitches, each SMP-94RZ1 is
configured with its number of zone (from 1 to 240 zones).
3.2.2. Output contacts.
The PROGRAM or PRIORITY output signal appears between
the contacts + and -C. There is a third contact S that is used
for security paging in 3-wires attenuators.
3.2.3. PRIORITY input contacts.
"PRIORITY" channel input contacts.
3.3.4. PROGRAM input contacts.
"PROGRAM" channel input contacts.
3.3. INSTALLATION.
Each zone needs a SMP-94RZ1 that must be configured with
its corresponding number of zone and connected to the
parallel communication bus (see figure 7).
The number of required conductors of the parallel bus
depends on the number of zones (see Table 1).
The parallel communication bus must be power supplied at 24
V.d.c., as shown in figure 4, in order to supply the SMP-94RZ1

3.1.1. Polsador de reset.
Quan es canvia la configuració d'un SMP-94RZ1 cal polsar el
reset per fer que el sistema identifiqui la nova configuració.
3.1.2. Entrada d'alimentació.
A través d'aquests dos contactes s'alimenta el SMP-94RZ1.
3.1.3. Contacte d'entrada Start/Stop.
Aquest contacte habilita als SMP-94RZ1 per que llegeixin la
informació de control que envia el SMP-94RZ a través del bus
paral·lel.
3.1.4. Entrades de selecció de zona.
A traves d'aquests vuit contactes (b0 - B7) es rep el codi binari
d'activació de zona.
3.2. VISTA POSTERIOR (figura 6b).
1. Dipswitchs de configuració de número de zona (Apartat
3.2.1.).
2. Contactes de sortida (Apartat 3.2.2.).
3. Contactes d'entrada PRIORITY (Apartat 3.2.3.).
4. Contactes d'entrada PROGRAM (Apartat 3.2.4.).
3.2.1. Dipswitchs de configuració de número de zona.
Mitjançant aquests dipswitchs es configura cada SMP-94RZ1
amb el seu número de zona (de 1 a 240 zones).
3.2.2. Contactes de sortida.
El senyal de sortida PROGRAM o bé PRIORITY, surt entre
els contactes + i -C. Hi ha un tercer contacte S que s'utilitza
per a la seguretat d'avisos en atenuadors a 3 fils.
3.2.3. Contactes d'entrada PRIORITY.

3.3. CONNEXIÓ.
Cada zona necessita un SMP-94RZ1 que cal configurar amb
el seu número de zona corresponent i connectar al bus de
comunicació paral·lel (veure figura 7).
En funció del nombre de zones varia el nombre de conductors
necessaris del bus paral·lel (veure Taula 1).
Cal alimentar el bus de comunicació paral·lel amb 24 V.c.c. tal
i com indica la figura 4, per tal d'alimentar els mòduls
selectors de zona SMP-94RZ1.
