1. Battery installation and external power supply
Install the 3xAAA batteries into the battery box according to polarity. If the batteries are installed
correctly, the product will start detecting automatically with LCD display on and return default to
12 o'clock, Jan. 1, 2008, temperature 25°C and "Bi Bi" alarm sound. Otherwise re-install the batteries.
Time and other settings have to be re-set if the alarm clock is powered off.
2. Display mode
 Press the middle part of the top of clock to trigger the backlight. The backlight of the clock and
memo board will be always on when it is plugged in to an external power supply. The backlight will
turn off after10 seconds if there is no operation external power.
 Any display will automatically return to the time if there is no operation within 10 seconds.
 At the time display mode, press the "Up" button continuously, it will display in turn as follows: Fixed
display time → conversion time, temperature, year, month and date → horizontal moving screen
effect, temperature, year, month and date.
3. Inquiry & setting function
At the time display mode, press "Mode" button continuously for checking. In turn it will display the
following: Time → Temperature → Year → Month & Date → Alarm 1 → Alarm 2 → Alarm 3 → Birthday
celebrations → Timer → Time.
4. Time setting
At the time display mode, long press the "SET" button for 3 seconds. When the 12-hour & 24-hour
display is blinking, press the "UP" or "DOWN" key to set the display option and press "S" to confirm.
Now the hour starts flashing. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" button to set the correct hour and press "S" to
confirm. The minutes will now start flashing. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" key to set the minutes and
press "S" to confirm.
5. Temperature setting
At the temperature display, press "SET" for °C & °F selection.
6. Calendar setting
At the start of the year, long press "S" for 3 seconds, "year" flashes. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" key to
set the display option, then press "S" to confirm. When the M D or D M is flashing press "UP" or
"DOWN" to set the "month and date" or "date and month" and confirm with "S".
Now you can set the date and month by pressing "UP" or "DOWN" and confirming with the "S" button.
When this is finished you will see the year again.
