Automatic Power-off
If you have not used the meter or rotated the rotary switch for about 15 minutes, the meter
will turn off automatically and go into Sleep mode.
To arouse the meter from Sleep, rotate the rotary switch or press a button.
If you press the "seLect" button to arouse the meter from Sleep when the rotary switch is
in the " " position, the automatic power-off feature will be disabled

Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives
or solvents.
Dirt or moisture in the terminals can affect readings. To clean the terminals, follow the
below steps:
1 Turn the meter off, remove all test leads.
2 Shake out any dirt that may be in the terminals.
3 Soak a new swab with alcohol. Work the swab around in each terminal.

should be replaced immediately.
To replace the batteries, remove the screws on the battery cover and remove the battery
cover, replace the exhausted batteries with new batteries of the same type. Reinstall the
battery cover and the screws.
Warning
Remove the test leads from the meter and remove the jaws from the conductor under
test before opening the case or the battery cover.
