The filter inserts and portafilter should be emptied out and rinsed under hot, running
water after every use to remove all residues of coffee oil. Turn the portafilter with an
empty filter insert into the brewing head and let hot water run through it by keeping
the
button pressed for 30 seconds.
Should the holes in the filter inserts be clogged, dissolve a SOLITABS cleaning tablet
in a glass of hot water and place the filter inserts and the portafilter in the solution
for approx. 20 minutes. After that, carefully rinse the filter inserts and the porta-
filter under hot water and dry everything. The fine holes in the filter inserts can be
punched out resp. cleaned with the fine needle under the protection cap on the
cleaning tool.
