• Please ensure that no hair can get caught in the rotating attachments when using
the device. Use a hair tie for your safety.
• Before use, ensure that the device and accessories show no visible damage. If you
have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified
Customer Service address.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable.
• Ensure that the mains cable is not routed or pulled over pointed or sharp objects.
• Insert the mains adapter into a socket that has been installed in compliance with
applicable regulations.
• Never open the housing.
• Keep the device away from pointed or sharp objects.
• If the device has been dropped or has suffered any other damage, it must no longer
be used.
• The device must be switched off and disconnected each time before cleaning.
WARNING: Electric shock
As with every electrical device, use this device carefully and cautiously, in order to
avoid hazards due to electric shock.
The device should therefore:
• Only be used with the mains adapter provided and only with the mains voltage
specified on the mains part
• Never be used if it or its accessories show visible signs of damage
• Not be used during a storm
In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and
disconnect it from the mains socket. Do not pull on the mains cable or on the device
to disconnect the mains part from the socket. Never hold or carry the device by the
mains cable. Keep the cables away from hot surfaces.
Make sure that the plug and cable do not come into contact with water or other
liquids.
Never try to retrieve the charger if it has fallen into water and is connected to the power
supply.
WARNING: Repairs
• Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper
repairs may subject users to considerable danger. In the event of a fault or damage,
have the device repaired by a certified specialist workshop.
WARNING: Risk of fire
There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are
ignored.
The device should therefore:
• Never be left unsupervised, especially if there are children nearby
• Never be used underneath a cover, such as a blanket, pillow, etc.
• Never be used near petrol or other highly flammable substances
