VACUUM PACKAGING IN ROLLS
Lift the cover (6.) and place the roll (in well spread conditions) on the welding bar (9.), on
the left of the slide (11.). Make sure that the open side of the roll is NOT inserted in the
vacuum chamber (8.). ( picture1 )
Introduce the cable plug into a socket and start the air pump by pressing switch (1.).
Slightly press your hands on the cover (6) to produce an initial depression in the vacuum
chamber.
When the vacuum level is reached, the welding start automatically .
After welding the unit stops.
Cut the roll and use like a bag.
GREEN AND RED LED
LEDs on the switches will show information about operations and programming functions.
Green LED on shows vacuum operation is on; red LED on shows the machine produced a
food preservation vacuum level; red LED flashing shows welding operation is on.
The vacuum gauge is provided with 3 differently coloured areas showing the vacuum level.
The yellow area (about -200..-525 mbar) corresponds to operation start, when the air
quantity in the circuit is still high. In the green area (about -525.. -750 mbar) the vacuum
level is already sufficient for a correct food preservation for a short or medium time. When
the indicator lies between the two black lines (about -625.. and -750 mbar) welding should
be started. When the indicator reaches the red area (about -750.. -800.. mbar), the
maximum vacuum level has been obtained.
The vacuum level which the unit can reach depends on food (or object) quality and shape.
For example, a rigid structure of the material in the bag can produce air residuals that can
not be removed and will prevent the vacuum gauge from reaching the maximum level.
There are also products (such as fish, tomatoes, etc.) containing liquids which, in case of
compression, leak out and can be sucked by the machine with resulting damages to the
same. Other products are not very compact and an excessive vacuum level can damage or
crush them. We recommend to check the adherence of the bag and weld before the
product is crushed.
Line: JUNIOR Cod. 9702 N (G-A-M)
Introduce the supply cable plug into a socket with suitable voltage. The unit is ready for
operation.
Press switch (1.) to position ON to start the air pump and air suction. Press switch (1.)
again to position OFF to stop machine operation.
The meter gauge (2.) shows the vacuum level (depression) reached by the air pump in the
container. During operation the indicator will move from the yellow area (minimum vacuum
level) to the red area (maximum vacuum level).
At first the vacuum gauge indicator shows strong oscillations due to air suction in course;
when the air quantity in the pipes decreases, the indicator settles at a definite position.
