Using the appliance
Straightening
Straighteners are powerful styling tools and should always be used with
care.
As with all straighteners that reach salon high temperatures, do not
use the appliance frequently to avoid damage to the hair. If you use
the straightener incorrectly, you could overheat your hair or even
burn it.
Always follow the steps below to select the right heat setting for
your hair type! (fig. 2).

Always select a low heat setting when you start using the
straightener for the first time.

For coarse, curly or hard-to-straighten hair, select a medium (160)
to high (200) heat setting.

For fine, medium-textured or softly waved hair, select a medium to
low heat setting (160 and below).

Take extra care with pale, blonde, bleached or colour-treated hair,
since it will be susceptible to damage at high heat settings.
The display shows the selected heat setting and the remaining
time of the straightening session.

Look at the display to see the heat setting you have selected.

The bars on the display show the remaining usage time of the
straightener.The total usage time is 60 minutes. Every ten minutes
one of the six bars will disappear.

Insert the plug into the wall socket.

Press the on/off button.
The pilot light burns red to indicate that the straightener is heating up.
Ions are generated as soon as the straightener is switched on and are
released through the ion output holes.

Let the appliance heat setting up.
