• We recommend wearing ear defenders
and goggles when using the tool.
• Pay attention to the direction of
rotation of the milling disc.
• Start the machine immediately prior to
contact with the workpiece.
• Never set down the running machine.
• The tools inserted must be designed
for the revolutions specified on the
power tool at least. Milling discs or
other inserted tools operating at
increased revolutions may fly apart and
cause injuries.
• Always use the protective hood
(covers 8 + 9). A protective hood
protects the user from break away
parts of the biscuit jointer and from
unintentional contact with the tool.
• If connection cables are damaged, they
must – in order to reduce the risks – be
replaced by the manufacturer or by
their customer service representative.
7 – Assembly and
adjustment tasks
Milling depth setting (Figures 4 + 5)
Unplug from the power source! The
rotating switch (2) is used to select the
standard settings for the three most
frequently used biscuit dowel sizes by
means of the arrow marking:
0 = Biscuit dowel number 0
(Approximately 45 x 15.5 x 4.0 mm)
10 = Biscuit dowel number 10
(Approximately 55 x 19 x 4.0 mm)
20 = Biscuit dowel number 20
(Approximately 62 x 23 x 4.0 mm)
The milling depths are preset at the
factory. Corrections may be made, if
required, using the adjustment screw (10).
The locknut is used to lock the selected
setting.
Height/angle setting
Height setting (Figure 6)
Loosen both lever screws (4), set the
angle stop (9) to 90° and set the required
milling height at the workpiece. Heights of
0-60 mm can be set using the vertical
height scale.
Angle setting (Figure 7)
For mitred connections, the appropriate
angle settings may be selected. Loosen
both lever screws (4) and tilt the angle
stop (9) in such a way that the lateral angle
markings for 45°, 90° and 135° correspond
to the vertical height scale. To set the 0°
position, tilt the angle stop up as far as it
will go. Tighten the lever screws up again.
Changing the milling disc (Figure 2 + 3)
Push the height/angle setting (4) and
side/angle stop (9) up to prevent hindering
work. Loosen the screws (15) and remove
the milling plate (8). Rotate the device so
that the underside of the skid (8) is visible.
Loosen the screw of the cover (11),
remove the cover. Push and hold the
spindle lock (6) and remove the flange
screw (12) with the flange wrench (18).
Remove the milling disc (3) through the
exposed front. When installing the new
disc, ensure that the direction of rotation
match the housing marking. Put back
together in reverse order.
