6 – Device-specific safety
information
• Milling discs made of high-speed steel
may not be used.
• Milling discs that do not correspond to
the characteristic data specified in this
operating manual may not be used.
• Attention should be paid to ensure that
the milling disc is suitable for the
spindle revolutions of the tool.
• Ensure that all of the moving parts of
the milling plate are able to move
without catching. Never block it.
• Only use sharp milling discs.
• Fix wooden items in place firmly before
processing. Never hold them by hand.
• Do not use flanges/flange nuts with
drilled holes that are larger or smaller
than those of the milling disc.
• The milling disc may not be braked by
hand or using mechanical aids.
• The machine is not be used for
stationary operation.
• Deformed or cracked milling discs may
not be used.
• Before changing discs or performing
any care or maintenance work,
disconnect from the power.
