6 INSTALLATION

Installation of the communication module consists of the
following simple steps:
• Connecting the device to the Jøtul stove.
• Fastening of the communication module to the stove.
• Connecting the communication module to power.
6�1 CONNECTING TO THE STOVE
To connect the stove to the communication module, it is
enough to plug the RJ11 connector of the communication
module into the port on the rear of the stove (fig. 4.1).
6�2 FASTENING OF THE
COMMUNICATION MODULE TO THE
STOVE
The communication module is fastened to the stove by
means of the double-sided hook-and-loop strap provided
on both the stove and module.
• The stove should be cold so as not to cause disturbances
during stove maintenance and operation.
• Apply the strap on both sides and put the communication
module into place (fig. 4.2).
• Check whether potential loose cables have been
fastened to the stove's rear panel by means of a ring.
