TEST OF THE BODY CORD ON ITS OWN
Select the TESTER mode; insert the 3-pin connector of
the body cord to FTT-1. According to the kind of body
cord, perform the tests indicated below to check the
correct ignition of the lights.
In the body cord test for the epee, the reel can also be
checked together with the connection cable running from
the signalling unit to the reel.

When a contact is made between
green
the two closest plugs (with a metallic
object: coins, keys, etc.), the green
light should turn on.
When a contact is made between
the distant plugs, the red light
should turn on.

When the thinner plug of the two-
green
pin connector is nipped, the green
light should turn on.
When the FTT clip is touched with
the bigger plug of the two-pin
connector the red light should turn
on.

When the point of the saber
green
connecter is nipped, the green light
should turn on.
When the FTT clip is touched with
the ground of the saber connecter,
the red light should turn on.
