Maintaining and cleaning the coffee machine

Brewing coffee (fig. 6 to fig. 8, page 3)
NOTICE!
A
Never use hot water. Never put milk, ready-made coffee, tea etc. in the water
tank.
This could seriously damage the coffee machine.
Place the required amount of coffee in the filter.
Fill the water tank with clear, cold water.
Do not fill the water tank above the maximum fill line.
Place the coffee cup in the coffee machine before switching it on.
Turn the on/off switch to "0" (fig. 1 A, page 2) when brewing is finished and you
have removed the coffee cup.
If you want to switch off the device, pull out the connection cable.

Always disconnect the device from the mains before you clean and service it.
NOTICE!
A
 Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
 Do not use sharp, abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning
as these can damage the device and the coffee cup.
Rinse the filter under a tap after use.
Clean the coffee cup after use.
The coffee cup is dishwasher proof.
Descale the device regularly (around every three months) using standard descaler.
Use according to manufacturer's specifications.

Guarantee

The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the
addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you
send in the device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for the claim or description of the fault

Disposal

Dispose of the coffee machine and packaging appropriately when you no longer wish
to use the device.
