8. Electrical safety

Always check that the voltage of
the power supply corresponds to
the voltage on the rating plate.
• Do not use the machine if the mains
cable or the mains plug is damaged.
• Only use extension cables that are suit-
able for the power rating of the machine
with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm
If you use a extension cable reel, always
fully unroll the cable.

9. Before the first use

Remove the machine and all accessories
from the package. Keep the packaging
materials out of the reach of small children.
There is a danger of suffocation!

11. Intended use

The multifunction tool is a high quality,
compact machine which is suitable for an
enormous number of different applications
for drilling, cutting, grinding and brushing
thanks to its extensive range of
accessories.

12. Use

Replacing the collet
12.1
(See fig. A)
Before assembly always remove
the plug from the mains!
Three size collets (3.2mm / 2.4mm /
1.6mm) are available to accommodate the
different shank sizes.
Always use the collet that matches the
shank size of the accessory you plan to use.
Do not force a larger diameter shank into a
smaller collet.
• Press the spindle lock button (4) and
turn the collet nut (2) counter clockwise
with the supplied wrench.
• Remove the collet nut (2) and collet
(12), and insert one appropriately-sized
collet into the spindle.

• Reinstall the collet nut (2) to finger tight.
Do not over-tighten the collet nut when
there is no accessory in the collet.
• Release the spindle lock button (4).

Before assembly always remove

Warning! Change accessories by inserting
an accessory into the collet as far possible
to minimize run out and unbalance.
• Press the spindle lock button (4) and
turn the collet nut (2) counter clockwise
with the supplied wrench.
• Insert the mandrel of the accessory into
the collet that matches the shank size
of the accessory.
• Use the wrench to turn the collet nut
clockwise until lightly tightened. Do not
over-tighten.
• Release the spindle lock button.
