presented. Keep these operating instruc-
tions for further reference.

operating instructions!

tion on operating and handling the device.

ther reference. Please pass it on along with

1. Explanation of the symbols

The following symbols are used in the user
manual or on the product:
Warning! To reduce the risk of
injury, the user must read the
instruction manual.
Denotes risk of personal injury, loss

Wear safety glasses. When working
with electric power tools, sparks,
splinters, chips and dust particles
may be generated and these can
cause loss of sight.

2. Additional safety instructions
for cordless drain augers
Wear protective goggles and a face

sibly poisonous and infectious contents
of the drain.
Wear tight-fitting, solid gloves made

injury may result from hands or fingers
being drawn into the flexible shaft. If

Do not eat, drink or smoke while operat-

your hands and other body parts which

of the drain or other contaminations

avoid taking on toxic or infectious
material.

ing parts. Therefore wear tight-fitting
clothing and if necessary a hair net. Do
not wear jewellery or other items which

may result from them being twisted into
the flexible shaft. Grasp the flexible
shaft only with suitable, tight-fitting
gloves. Unsuitable gloves may get
caught in the flexible shaft and cause
severe injury.
Hold the machine as close as possible

cleaning to avoid that the flexible shaft
may twist or form loops. An excessively
long free piece of the flexible shaft may
twist and snap and cause severe injury.
