For each channel, brightness, contrast, chroma and sharpness can be
adjusted separately.
HARD DISK ERASE
Move the cursor to HARD DISK ERASE and press <ENTER> to show the HARD DISK
ERASE screen.
Select "YES" and press <ENTER> to format, thus erase, the Hard Disk.
This means all recorded data on the disk are deleted.
When PASSWORD ENABLE setup was previously set, the system will ask for the
password before erasing the data on the HDD.
To exit, press <EXIT>.
COLOR BAR ON
By using the colour bar, the user may adjust the colour settings of the monitor. Select "COLOR BAR ON" to display a
colour bar consisting of 8 colours: white, yellow, clear blue, clear green, fuchsia, red, dark blue and black.
LOAD FACTORY DEFAULT
To reset the factory default values, select "YES" and press <ENTER>.
To exit, press <EXIT>.
REBOOT SETUP
The system supports daily rebooting function (at a fixed moment).
The system default is set to "OFF".
8. Troubleshooting
Q1: Certain items cannot be selected or setup.
1. Enter Record Mode selection and verify if all channels are set to "OFF".
2. If not, set all channels to "OFF" and press <STOP> or <EXIT> to skip to live display ; the setup will be stored.
Q2: How can the DVR software be updated?
1. Copy the software update (file name: YOKO4CH.BIN) onto the hard disk or store it on the CF card (FAT16 format).
2. Put the hard disk or CF card into the DVR4QAF and switch it on.
3. During live display, press <MENU> to enter the menu display.
4. Press <MENU> 3 times and then <SEARCH> 3 times to open the firmware update display.
5. Press <←> or <→> to select hard disk or CF card.
6. Press <ENTER> to update the firmware.
7. Approximately 30 seconds after system firmware update has been completed, the DVR4QAF will auto-reboot.
8. Press <MENU> to enter menu (bottom right corner displays version change).
