Select Source:
CHANNEL: select the camera(s) that filmed what you're looking for (ALL, 1, 2, 3, 4.)
DAY, BEGIN TIME, END TIME: select the day and approximate point in time the
fragment happened on (begin a little earlier and end a little later just to be sure).
Press <ENTER> to start copying.
CF CARD DATA FORMAT / ERASE
Move the cursor to FORMAT / ERASE and press <ENTER>. The CF CARD
ERASE screen appears:
All data in the CF card will be erased.
We strongly recommend that you use a Transcent, SanDisk or Aplus Compact
Flash Card.
g. ENGINEERING SETUP
In the main menu, select ENGINEERING SETUP and press <ENTER>. The screen at
the right appears:
PASSWORD
Move the cursor to PASSWORD and press <ENTER> to show the Password Protection
screen. Select ENABLE to activate the password protection for the main menu or select
DISABLE not to password protect the main menu.
The default password is '0000'.
SET PASSWORDS
Move the cursor to SET PASSWORDS and press <ENTER> to enter the SET
PASSWORDS screen:
Set and confirm the password by means of the <←>, <→>, <+> and <-> buttons.
Press <ENTER> to confirm the password or <EXIT> to exit.
CAMERA TITLES SETUP
Move the cursor to CAMERA TITLES SETUP and press <ENTER> to enter the
CAMERA TITLE SETUP display (Maximum characters per title is 8).
Determine the camera names by means of the <←>, <→>, <+> and <-> buttons.
Press <ENTER> to confirm the titles or <EXIT> to exit.
ON: displays camera title ; OFF: Camera title not displayed.
CHANNEL SEQUENCE
The 'Sequence' consists of 8 steps (hence 1-8).
There are 6 options for the 'CAMERA NUM'(ber): Q= Quad, 1= camera 1,
2= camera 2, 3= camera 3, 4= camera 4, '-'= Ignore this channel and skip to
the next channel.
Dwell Time: The dwell time per channel can be set from 2 to 9 seconds.
In the example at the right, the quad screen, channel 1, channel 2, channel 3 and channel 4 are shown for 3 seconds
each, steps 6, 7 and 8 are skipped, which makes the display jump back to step 1 (quad screen).
