Hydraulic Connection to the Central Heating System
- In the "mains water inlet" connection before the cylinder, install the Flexbrane
safety unit in accordance with the instructions that come with it. Route the
discharge to the general drain system.
- Make the connections for the Flow and Return circuit through (21) and (22), as
well as the mains water inlet (blue) and domestic hot water outlet (red) through
(23) and (24).

- Route the draw-off cock and the safety valve discharge to the general waste
system.
Flow
Watertight Test
- Fill the system with water until the fill pressure value on the scale reaches the
required level.
- Check that there are no leaks in the hydraulic circuit.
Connection to the flue stack and to the air supply/flue
gas duct
- With LAIA GTA and GTAX boilers, connect the flue duct to the boiler at (25) and
ensure that the connection is air-tight with pipe jointer material (rope seal),
ceramic fibre gasket or putty which does not set hard.
