AIR-FLOW PERIO TREATMENT
Indications
The AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO use with the
handpiece AIR-FLOW PERIO and the nozzles is
recommended for the following cleaning proce-
dures :
•
Maintenance of periodontal pockets deeper
•
Implant maintenance
Contra-indications
Patients suffering from chronic bronchitis
or asthma must not, under any circumstances, be
treated with an air polishing device. The jet of air
The treatment of deep periodontal pockets
can cause bacteraemia. Please apply appropriate
restrictions for the treatment of risk patients
(endocarditis, pregnancy, breast feeding, conta-
agranulocytosis, diabetes, haemophilia), patients
under treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy,
antibiotics).
Do not use AIR-FLOW PERIO handpiece
with nozzle immediately after subgingival cleaning
(Ultra-sonic or hand instrumentation).

TRAITEMENT AIR-FLOW PERIO
Indications
L'AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO utilisé avec la

Contre-indications
Les patients souffrant de bronchite
chronique ou d'asthme ne doivent en aucun cas
être traités avec un aéropolisseur. Le jet d'air et

Veuillez tenir compte des restrictions concernant
le traitement de patients à risques (endocardite,
grossesse, allaitement, maladies contagieuse

Ne pas utiliser la pièce à main AIR-FLOW
PERIO avec busette immédiatement après un
nettoyage sous-gingival (à ultrasons ou avec
instruments à main).

Im Folgenden sind die Empfehlungen im
Hinblick auf Reinigungsverfahren mit dem Gerät
AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO und dem AIR-FLOW
PERIO-Handstück einschliesslich der entspre-
chenden Düsenspitzen aufgeführt:

Gegenanzeigen
Patienten, die unter einer chronischen
Bronchitis oder Asthma leiden, dürfen unter
-
keinen Umständen mit einem Airpolishing-Gerät
behandelt werden. Der aus Luft und Pulver beste-
hende Strahl kann Atemwegsprobleme verur-
sachen.
Die Behandlung tiefer Parodontalta-
schen kann Bakteriämien verursachen. Bitte
beachten Sie geeignete Beschränkungen bei der
Behandlung von Risikopatienten (Endokarditis,
Schwangerschaft, Stillen, ansteckende Krankheit,
Diabetes, Hämophilie) und Patienten unter
Behandlung (Strahlentherapie, Chemotherapie,
Antibiotika).
Das AIR-FLOW PERIO-Handstück darf
nicht unmittelbar nach einer subgingivalen
Reinigung (Ultraschall oder Handinstrument)
verwendet werden.
