1 OPTICAL 1 IN/OUT connectors
OPTICAL 2 IN/OUT connectors
These are SC connectors used for connecting MADI-compatible devices.
Each connector can input or output audio signals, up to a maximum of
64 channels.
NOTE
• Use multi-mode optical fiber cables with a core diameter of 62.5 μm/cladding
diameter of 125 μm, or a core diameter of 50 μm/cladding diameter of 125 μm.
• Cables of up to 2,000 meters (theoretical value) can be used.
• Use dual SC connectors (SC duplex).
• Use the plastic cap provided to cover up cables not in use to avoid dust
contamination.
Cleaning
Correct communication might not be possible if debris and/or dust has adhered to the
ends of optical fiber cables or the connectors. Clean the equipment regularly by using
commercially available optical fiber cleaning products.
2 Card installation/removal lever
Used for installing/removing the card. Refer to the leaflet included with the
card for installation. Refer to the owner's manual supplied with each device
for more information about installation and removal.
