4. START-UP
Before applying pressure to the valve, carry out the following operations:
4.1.- Assembling the caps
Assemble the stainless steel plate making sure that the plate holes (No. 5 Fig. 11) match the body holes (No.
1 Fig. 11).
Place the friction joints (No. 10 Fig. 11) in the respective axles of the body.
Assemble each cap (No. 2 Fig. 11) so that the hole matches the axle where the body is. To ensure correct
assembly, manually push each cap to ensure that the outlet hole is completely closed. (Fig. 10).
4.2.- Assembling the base plate in the body
Place all caps in position so that they fully close the outlet hole. Assemble the base plate in the body, by
inserting the lower part of the centre axle in the housing of the central part of the body (No.1 Fig. 11)
Once the base plate has been placed, slowly turn it anticlockwise up to one complete turn to ensure that all
the caps are correctly placed and to avoid possible blockages.
4.3.- Assembling the cover
First fully clean the O-ring (No.4 Fig.11), the housing of the body and the base of the cover which touches it.
Then place the O-ring in the housing of the body.
Assemble the cover on the body and then assemble the ring (No. 3 Fig. 11) so that the section fits in the lip
of the body and the cover. Finally tighten the nut until the ring is well fastened.
4.4.- Assembling the knob
Fully screw the knob on the neck of the cover and then place the safety washer in the centre axle groove.
Then press the plug (No.19 Fig. 11) in the knob and lastly place the latch (No.23 Fig. 11)
Once the pump has been started up, open the purge (No. 20 Fig.11) to let the air out from inside the valve.
5. OPERATION
To check that everything is working properly, the pressure gauge incorporated in the distributor valve should indicate
between 1 and 1.4 bars and when the branch is changed, pressure reduce.
The optimum working flow is between 10 and 15 m3/h.
The optimum action time in each position is between 30 and 60 seconds. The action time will depend on the flow
and can be adjusted following the instructions on the cover. If you want to change the action time, first remove the
latch (Fig. 9) and turn clockwise if you wish to reduce the action time and increase the rotation speed. If you want
to increase the action time and reduce the rotation speed, turn the knob anticlockwise until rotation stops. Once the
action time has been adjusted, place the latch (Fig.9).
6. MAINTENANCE
Maintenance work should be carried out on the valve once a year, usually at the start of the bathing season. Clean
the inside, removing remains of lime which may be deposited. Make sure that water does not remain inside the
valve during winter, as it could freeze and damage the mechanism.
To clean the valve or replace any of its components, follow the dismantling process:
6.1.- Removing the knob
Remove the latch (Fig. 9)
With a flat-tip screwdriver, remove the plug (No. 19 Fig. 11). Perform the same operation to remove the safety
washer (No. 6 Fig. 11) of the centre axle (No. 8 Fig. 11).
Turn the knob anticlockwise until it comes out of the cover and pull it to remove.

6.2.- Removing the cover

Loosen the ring nut (No. 3 Fig. 11) until the ring comes out of the valve.
When the cover is removed the O-ring (No. 4 Fig. 11) which makes the cover and the body watertight, will be
uncovered.
