1. Introduction
Read through these operating instructions fully and carefully. The operating
instructions belong to this product and contain important points concerning
bringing the appliance into service and its operation.
Always pay attention to all safety instructions. Should you have any questions
or be unsure about operating the appliance ask a specialist. Keep these
instructions in a safe place and should the need arise pass them on to a third
party.

2. Proper use

The digital wireless transmission set consists of the transmitter DF-100TX and
receiver DF-100RX each with a mains adaptor model YL 35-075300D and a
remote control FB-DF1. It is to be used for the transmission of an audio and a
video signal from a surveillance camera. Due to the digital compression it is not
suitable for transmission of TV-pictures. The video and audio transmission is
wireless using a frequency of 2.4GHz.
A PAL-Video and if required an audio signal from a surveillance camera can be
connected to the transmitter. The receiver can be connected to the video and
audio inputs of a monitor, TV-set or recorder. The recording is limited to one
camera and due to the operating system of the PC the recording can not be
guaranteed over a longer period. The recording function of the software is not a
substitute for a professional recorder (DVR). The power is supplied through the
supplied mains adapters connected to a 230VAC, 50Hz mains supply.
Up to four transmitters of camera signals can be used on separate channels with
one receiver, additional transmitters DF-100TX and cameras DF-200K are
available as optional accessories. The channels can be manually selected,
automatically displayed in sequence if the scan mode is selected, or all 4
channels displayed on a split screen if the quad mode is selected.
Two sets of transmitter and receiver can be coupled in order to extend the
wireless range. In this way the set can be used as a wireless "repeater" for other
components in the DF-Series.
The wireless transmission is digital and on constantly changing frequencies
(frequency hopping) which are synchronised between the transmitter and the
receiver. Only the receiver which has been "paired" with the transmitter can
receive the synchronised signals. This security feature prevents access of the
transmitter signal by third parties (see Fig.D).
The components are for indoor use only and must be protected from moisture.
The set is for use in private households. A video surveillance system does not
replace your duty of care or supervision. Observe the regulations concerning
video surveillance in commercial and public areas.
Any other use or modification of the device is not authorised. No liability will be
accepted for consequential damages or for damages caused by improper use or
incorrect operation. No liability will be accepted for consequential damages
caused by any function or by malfunction. Unless any liability is specifically
required by law, claims for damages, in particular those for personal injury or
property damage caused by non-functioning or malfunctioning of the machine,
are excluded.
This appliance is not intended to be used by people (including children) with

restricted physical, sensory or mental capacities, or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by, or receive instructions how to use the
appliance from a person responsible for their safety.
