Before using for the first time:
• Remove the service jack from the packaging and check it for transportation damages. Store the packaging materials
out of the reach of children.
• Unfold the hand crank and fit to the holder on the service jack.
• Extend the service jack fully by turning the hand crank clockwise. This distributes lubrication evenly over the entire
length of the spindle and makes operating the service jack easy.
• Lower the service jack fully by turning the hand crank anti-clockwise.
Lifting a vehicle:
• Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away.
• Unfold the hand crank and fit to the holder on the service jack.
• Open up the service jack until there is a distance of about 1 cm between the jack and the underside of the vehicle. This
makes it easier to precisely position the service jack at the lifting point of the vehicle. The lifting point for services jacks
can be found in the manual of your vehicle.
• Place the service jack under the vehicle. Now turn the crank clockwise and, at the same time, stabilise with the
other hand
• Lift the vehicle to the desired height.
• Secure the vehicle with support frames. Never work under a vehicle that has been lifted using just a service jack.
Lowering a vehicle:
• Make sure that there are no persons or objects under the vehicle before lowering.
• Crank anti-clockwise to lower the vehicle slowly and only remove the service jack from under the vehicle when it is
fully retracted.
