Description:
Henry Schein's Fill Station is a simple and convenient way to fill syringes with liquid solutions. It featu-
res a syringe activated valve for quick, drip-free syringe filling and a level sensor that illuminates when
bottle is empty.
Prepare solution bottle for use:
1. Remove white bottle cover from base unit.
2. Remove cap from bottle cover.
3. Place stopper onto the thread side of the white bottle cap and push down firmly to secure.
4. Set the O-ring in the white cap seal groove to ensure tightness.
Install solution bottle:
1. Flip bottle of solution so white bottle cap is on the bottom. Press down firmly and twist into the base
of the Fill Station until cap is seated all the way into unit. (If having problem twisting bottle in base,
apply silicon lubricant to O–ring on bottle cap.)
2. Snap bottle cover back onto the base of the Fill Station.
3. Place Fill Station in desired location.
NOTE : DO NOT heat the Fill Station unless bottle of solution is installed.
Filling Syringes:
1. Take any luer lock syringe, e.g Henry Schein luer lock syringes, and place on the syringe valve. Push
syringe firmly and twist until securely in place.
2. Simply draw back plunger on syringe and fill to desired amount.
3. Untwist syringe from valve and place cap or tip on syringe.
4. When the white bottle is empty, please add solution in time.
Technical Notes:
WARNING:
DO NOT use any flammable liquids in the Fill Station with Heat unit.
1. DO NOT use alcohol solutions in Fill Station(s) as this will damage the units.
2. It is recommended that an 16 oz. / 454,4ml bottle of solution is used in the Fill Station with Heat to
maintain a high level of Free Chlorine which ensures effectiveness of solution. (see chart below).
IMPORTANT NOTE : In order to keep Na l (sodium chloride) active, unit must be TURNED OFF at end
of each day!
3. Clean unit monthly by filling reservoir with distilled water and then draw water through unit by filling
syringes until water is drained from reservoir – repeat if needed and more frequently during periods
of greater use.
