Introduction

Jar Testers are studied both to optimize the dosing of coagulants in order to separate the
pollutions in water treatment plants, thanks to the laboratory valuation results obtained
with the so-called Jar Test .
It is possible to set the stirring speed in analogycal way and the stirring time by knobs
placed on the frontal panel .
The examined samples can be lighted by a back fluorescent lamp controlled by a switch
located on front panel .
The portable jar tester ET 730 was developed for optimum use in the field, in fact the
instrument can run both connected to a normal battery and a car's cigarette lighter .

Instrument description

The steel structure epoxy painted is studied and tested in order to give to the instrument
an excellent resistance to the attack of chemical agents and to corrosion in general .
The external power supply allows the instrument to be connected to all frequencies and
voltages in the world (100÷240 V – 50÷60 Hz) .
It's possible to select the stirring speed (20-40-50-100-200 rpm), the time of running and
the lighting of central column by the frontal panel . The stirring speed is the same for each
position . It is possible to set the time of running from 0 to 30 minutes and the central
column start up .
ET 730 is characterized by a non-skid base so as to keep the beakers stable during
operation .
