Installation
The siren should be attached flush to the wall at a practical height
for the operator. Ensure that a suitable power supply is available
(12 V DC or 3 x 1.5 V batteries (type "D"), or both). The internal
siren can be installed up to 100 metres from your wireless alarm
centre. The reception range is strongly dependent on the structural
characteristics of the building.

Location check

The incoming signal strength should be measured at the planned
installation location for the internal siren. The FU3801 wireless
testing box from our product range can be used for this purpose.
Avoid installation in the following locations:
Next to or on large metal structures. Less than one metre away
from power lines and metal, water and gas pipes. Inside steel
cases. Next to electrical devices, especially computers,
photocopiers or communication devices.
To attach the base plate to the wall, loosen the screw on the
bottom of the housing and lift the front part carefully from the base
plate.
