PUTTING THE APPLIANCE INTO OPERATION

Installation
The induction hob is fitted with a supply cable. It must be connected to a socket or to a box in the wall. Only
authorised specialist companies may perform electrical installation and specific national and local regula-
tions must be adhered to while doing so. The company performing installation is responsible for correctly
connecting and installing the appliance in compliance with the safety regulations. Warning and type labels
must be explicitly respected.

Make sure that the mains voltage complies with the voltage given on the appliance type label.
When situating or installing the cooker right next to a wall, partition, kitchen furniture, decorative panelling
etc. it is recommended that these be made from inflammable materials, otherwise they should be protected
by a layer of appropriate inflammable heat insulting material. Fire regulations must be strictly adhered to!
The induction hob must be installed into a clean and level surface (table, kitchen unit, etc.) in its final lo-
cation. It must be installed so that it cannot be moved. The "Conditions for installation" must be
adhered to.
Remove all items from the heating zone. Make sure that the heating zone is not cracked or broken. Immedia-
tely stop operating the appliance if the glass ceramic panel is cracked or broken and immediatelyswitch the
appliance off and remove the plug from the socket.
Before you connect the cooker to the mains, turn the power regulator to the "off " (0)position.
