4. Working with the device

4.1 System set-up

Plugging the device in and switching it on
The voltage of the main power supply must correspond to the voltage
indicated on the rating plate at the back of the device.
The device is outfitted with a universal power supply unit, which
means that it automatically adapts to voltages ranging from 100 V to
240 V and that no switching needs to be performed.
Plug the power cord into the power connection 21 at the back of
the control unit.
Then insert the unit plug into the room power supply socket.
Turn on the control unit with the power ON
The power ON 17 indicator lamp is illuminated. The HF device is
performing a self-test.
On switching on the device for the first time after the self-test, the ba-
sic factory settings are shown on the display.
Each time the device is switched on thereafter, the device settings
used before the last switch-off are displayed.

Using the function keys
The adjustment of all settings of the HF device
dosage setting, operational mode selected or menu settings, can be
carried out via the function keys
16 switch.
The actuation of a function key is confirmed by an acoustic signal
when the key is pressed.
Connecting the neutral electrode
The connection socket neutral electrode 12 has been designed for a
6.3 mm jack plug.
When no neutral electrode is plugged in, or in the case of a neutral
electrode fault, the neutral electrode symbol lights up red
neutral electrode has been connected correctly, the neutral electrode
symbol appears green
