Setup
Note: All sample screens and procedures are for iPhone. For iPad, the screens and
procedures are similar.
To set up the device and pair it with your iPhone/iPad, proceed as follows:
1. On your iPhone/iPad, download the HiProx Multi app from the App Store.
2. On your iPhone/iPad, enable Bluetooth: go to Settings > General > Enable
Bluetooth.
3. On the iReminder, open the battery cover [4] and insert a new CR2032 type
battery (incl.) with the + sign on the battery facing up.
Warning: Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may
explode. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep
batteries away from children.
4. Place the battery cover back. The power turns on automatically and the device
enters pairing mode. The green LED blinks once every second to indicate that
the device is ready to pair with your iPhone/iPad.
5. On your iPhone/iPad, open the HiProx Multi app and tap the
upper right corner to search for available devices (fig. A). A pairing request
pops up for HiProx Multi (fig. B).
6. Tap "Pair" to pair the found device with your iPhone/iPad. The green LED on
the device blinks every 5 seconds when it is connected to your iPhone/iPad.
When the pairing process is completed, the device appears in the list of
available devices in the MainView screen (fig. C).
Note: You can pair up to 4 devices with your iPhone/iPad.

Testing the System
To test the system, proceed as follows:
1. On your iPhone/iPad, in the MainView list of available devices, tap the device
that you want to test. The Find button
2. Tap the Find button
3. On the iReminder, enable the FindMe function by placing the switch [3] in the
left position (away from the key chain hook).
4. Press the FindMe button [2]. Your iPhone/iPad beeps.
5. Press the FindMe button [2] again to stop the FindMe function.

Adjusting the Search Range
1. Test the search range as follows: place your iPhone/iPad in a fixed location.
Take the iReminder and walk away from the iPhone/iPad (fig. G). When you go
beyond the search range, the device starts to beep. Move back within range,
and the alarm stops.
