Battery replacement

A reoccurring audible signal and the Display message „Battery change" indicate that the
batteries must be replaced. The device automatically disconnects after 10 seconds.
To replace batteries open the battery cover with a gently pressure until it disengages and
remove the cover.
The battery compartment takes 4 x LR6 (AA) Alkaline Mignon cells (recommended: Duracell
®
Procell ). All four batteries must be replaced at once by observing the required polarity.
Thereafter the battery compartment may be inserted into the housing again with the correct
alignment shown in the figure below. Afterwards close the battery cover.
Do not use rechargeable batteries with the same design (LR6, AA).
The proper operation of the battery charge indicator and of the device is not ensured
in this case.
6 Disposal of the Device, Alcohol sensor, Batteries
The device and the alcohol sensor should not be disposed of with domestic waste.
Please send both back with the catchword "disposal" to Envitec.
Empty batteries must be disposed of in accordance to the relevant national or regional
regulations (EU 91/157/EEC).
