b) Operation
• Do not listen to music at an excessive volume for prolonged periods. This may damage your hearing.
• Do not use the product when driving a vehicle, operating machinery or performing any other potentially
dangerous activity. You may not hear warning signals or environmental noises and, as a result, be
exposed to hazards.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one. The
condensation generated could destroy the product. The plug-in power adapter also involves the risk to
life from an electric shock! Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting
it to use. This may take several hours.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorised use. Safe
operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
c) Battery
• Only charge the enclosed battery when it is inserted into the headphones. Never attempt to remove the
battery and charge it with an external charger.
• The battery may only be charged by inserting the headphones into the charging/transmission station.
Using another power supply with a different charging current may damage the device and cause the
in-built battery to overheat, catch fire or explode.
• The battery must not be touched by children.
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk that
children or pets may swallow them.
• Do not throw the battery into fire; never short circuit the battery or subject it to mechanical strain. This
may cause a fire or explosion!
• Charge the battery on a regular basis, even when you are not using the device (about every 3 months).
Failure to charge the battery regularly may cause the battery to deeply discharge, which can cause
permanent damage.
• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning
your skin.
• Liquids leaking from batteries are chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact with
these liquids could be severely damaged.
