8. determine how deep the collar turning key needs to go and mark this distance on the
key shaft with e.g. a thick marker (see image below).
9. Insert the key into the open end of the waterway to the point marked on the shaft.
Make one complete turn of the key on the top collar and then the bottom collar mak-
ing sure that the joined sections remain parallel, then repeat this process for each sec-
tion or group of sections to joined.
