Congratulations on the purchase of your new LED standard lamp. Because LEDs take
so little current, you can use batteries to power it – thereby doing away with trailing
mains cables.
We are sure that this appliance will do sterling service for many years.
Before using your lamp for the first time, please read this instruction manual
carefully and keep it in a safe place. If the appliance is passed on to another user,
please make sure you include this manual. The manufacturer and importer
accept no liability if the information in this manual is not observed.

Proper use

This lamp is intended solely for providing lighting indoors in dry conditions. It is
unsuitable for use in rooms such as bathrooms where the humidity may be high. The
lamp should not be used for close illumination of people, animals or plants. It is only for
private use and is not suitable for commercial use.
Injury risk for children, people and animals
Keep packaging away from children. Suffocation hazard!
Keep children away from the lamp. Do not let children play with the lamp. It is not
suitable for use by children.
Do not look directly into the light source! This can harm the eyes.
The lamp is not suitable for close illumination of people and animals.
Risk from batteries
Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Swallowing batteries can be highly
dangerous. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical aid without delay.
Only use type AA 1.5 V batteries.
The batteries may not be charged or reactivated by any other means, may not be
taken apart, thrown into fire or short-circuited.
Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery types or brands or
batteries with differing capacities.
Take care not to reverse the polarity when changing batteries (+/ -).
Remove the batteries when they are exhausted, or if you are not using the device
for an extended period of time. This will avoid possible damage due to battery
leakage.
Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions.
