NOTE:
If the appliance has a safety valve
system fitted (beside every burner is
a T-shaped probe, as in Fig. 3.1 - not
to be confused with the S-shaped
electrode of the gas-lighter), the flow
of gas will be stopped if and when the
flame should accidentally go out.
