Troubleshooting

If the article does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical article yourself! You should never
open the housing of the car!
Problem
The car does not
move. The LEDs
fl ash.
The car does not
move. The LEDs are
not lit.
The car battery does
not charge.
The race track falls
apart.
Several cars are is
use and they all react
to only one remote
control.

Possible cause
The wrong channel is set at
the remote control.
There are no batteries in
the remote control or the
batteries have been inserted
incorrectly or are too weak.
Battery is empty.
The car is switched on while
charging.
The connecting cable is
interrupted.
The plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket.
No mains voltage is present. Check the fuse of the electrical

joined together with the

The cars have not been
paired with their remote
controls.
Fix
Push the A / B switch on the
remote control to the other
position.
Insert two AA type 1.5 V bat-
teries into the remote control
as described in the "Inserting
batteries" chapter.
Charge the battery (see the
"Charging the car battery"
chapter).
Slide the ON / OFF switch on
the car to the OFF position
while charging.
Push the connector of the
connecting cable as far as it will
go into the socket of the car or
USB mains adapter and plug
this into the plug socket.
