9. Maintenance and care

Check the technical safety of the product regularly. Make sure, e.g., that the enclosure or the external power supply unit are not
damaged. If you find that safe operation can no longer be guaranteed, you must immediately stop using the product and also
ensure that it is no longer used in the future.
• Before each cleaning, maintenance or repair, the A/V selector switch must be completely separated from the power supply.
Turn the device off and separate it from the external power supply unit.
• When opening the enclosure or removing components, live components may be exposed. It may be that capacitors in the
device are still charged even though the device is separated from all power sources.
For cleaning the exterior of the product, a dry, lint-free cloth is sufficient. You can remove heavier dirt by
lightly moistening the cloth with lukewarm water.
1. Open the battery case cover.
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the polarity indicated
("-" negative, positive "+").
3. Close the battery case cover.

voltage is present.
