MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING

DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK
Make sure the machine is disconnected from electric power supply, before performing servicing
oparationn.
DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK
The electricity supply cable must be replaced by specialised personnel; contact your reseller.
In ordinary working conditions electropumps of the SUB series do not need any maintenance.
It may be occasionally necessary to clean the filter or other hydraulic parts.
If the electropump is not going to be used for long periods of time (e.g. an entire season) it should be completely
emptied, rinsed with clean water and stored in a dry place.
CLEANING THE FILTER
If the sucked water is not perfectly clean, it may be necessary to clean the filter with a steel brush to scrape the dirt
accumulated on the external surface.
It is also possible to clean the internal section of the filter.
Loosen the screw that fixes the filter to the body of the electropump and remove it.
Scrape the dirt with a steel brush and rinse it with clean water.
If this is not sufficient, have the hydraulic parts cleaned by an authorised centre.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1) No power.
2) Motor protection tripped.
3) Defective condenser.
4) Shaft blocked.
1) The pump is sucking air.
2) The pump rotates in the
wrong
direction
3) Suction grid blocked.
4) Check valve blocked.
1) The power supply does not
conform with the data on the
nameplate.
2) A solid object is blocking the
impellers.
3) The liquid is too thick.
REMEDY
1) Check the presence of voltage and if the plug is plugged in
properly.
2) Verify the cause and reset the switch. If the thermal circuit breaker
has tripped wait for the system to cool down.
3) Replace the condenser.
4) Verificare la causa e sbloccare l' e lettropompa
1) Check:
a) that the joints are sealed
b) that the level of the liquid has not gone below the minimum
priming level
2) Reset the direction of rotation.
3) Clean the filter
4) Clean or replace valve.
1) Check the voltage on the power supply cable leads.
