Volume
By pressing the buttons "+/-" it is possible to increase/decrease the
speaker volume level. The activation of these keys causes the cancellation
of the SQUELCH function, which shall be activated as indicated below, if
requested.
Squelch IA
By pressing this button you activate (LED on) or deactivate (LED off) the
automatic squelch function. The receiver, when the squelch is active, will
be noiseless. If you wish to listen to eventual very weak signals, it will be
necessary to deactivate the squelch function.
Reset
When a MOB device activates, the W402 receiver will enter in the alarm
condition. This condition can be cancelled by pressing the RESET button.
After pressing it the receiver returns to the initial listening condition and
the corresponding LED will switch on.
Device behaviour in case of alarm
In case that a crew member who wears a MOB device in compliance with
the EN 300 152 standard should fall in water, after a few seconds the
W402 receiver will enter in alarm condition. This condition consists in:

Making MOB signal audible at maximum volume.

Closing an auxiliary contact (for a possible outside alarm).

Switching off of the Reset Led.
This alarm informs the crew members about the emergency situation so
