Intended use
The device is intended exclusively for pressing seal-
ants or adhesives out of cartridges or film pouches.
Any other use or use outside this scope is considered
improper use.
The user alone is responsible for damage
resulting from improper use.

Battery

The batteries reach their full capacity after
4-5 charging and discharging cycles. Recharge
batteries that have not been used for a prolonged
time before use.
▸
Temperatures above 50°C (122°F) reduce the
power output of the replaceable battery. Avoid
prolonged exposure to the sun or heating (danger
of overheating).

Keep the contacts of the charger and the replace-
able battery clean.
▸
For an optimum service life, the batteries must be
fully recharged after use.
▸
For the longest possible service life, the bat-
teries should be removed from the charger after
charging.
▸
If the battery is stored for longer than 30 days:
— Store the battery in a dry place at approx. 27°C.
— Store the battery with approx. 30% - 50% of its
full charge.
— Recharge the battery every 6 months.
Overload protection of Li ion battery
The battery is equipped with an overload protection
function which protects the battery against overload
and ensures a long service life.
If the device is extremely overloaded, the battery
electronics switch off the device automatically.

Switch machine off and on again in order to
continue work.
— If the device does not start, the battery may be dis-
charged and has to be recharged in the charger.
Initial Use

Remove the battery before carrying

Install push rod (Fig. II)

Press switch-on inhibitor for ON/OFF switch [3].
Push rod [1] can be moved by hand.

Push in push rod [1].
Attention!
The teeth must be pointing downwards.
Keep the push rod and piston clean at all times.

Press switch-on inhibitor for ON/OFF switch [3].
Push rod [1] is locked.

Install piston (Fig. III)

Install pouch piston [10] / cartridge piston [11]
and secure with a screw.
Install cartridge holder / cylinder tube
(Fig. IV)
▸
Screw on cartridge holder [6]/cylinder tube [7].
