10. Replace the housing shell.

Note: The FK 4000 R cooling unit with flow controller must not be operated
without water filter.
Remove housing shell and side panel.
Cut out a length of approx. 5 cm from the middle of the cooler/reservoir connecting
hose.
Fit one hose clip to each of both hose ends.
Fit a hose clip at the cooler connection of the connecting hose.
Fit the flow controller to the hose ends – see Fig. 2 – noting the direction of flow
indicated by the arrow on the flow controller.
Fasten the hose clips with suitable pliers.
Remove jumper wire between pins 1 and 2 of terminal X1.
Cut flow controller power cables to length, strip, fit with wire end sleeves and con-
nect to pins 1 and 2 of terminal X1.
Using cable ties, secure the flow controller power cables to the wiring harness.
11. Fit the filter mounting plate at the
back using 2 off Extrude-Tite screws.
