OPERATION
SANDING
The removal rate and the sanding pattern are primarily determined by the choice of
sanding sheet, the preset oscillation rate and the applied pressure.
Only flawless sanding sheets achieve good sanding capacity and extend the service
life of your tool.
Pay attention to apply uniform sanding pressure; this increases the working life of the
sanding sheets. Intensifiying the sanding pressure does not lead to an increase of the
sanding capacity, but to increased wear of the tool and the sanding sheet.
For precise on-the-spot sanding of edges, corners and hard to reach areas, it is also
possible to work only with the tip or an edge of the sanding plate.
A sanding sheet that has been used for metal should not be used for other materials.
CUTTING
The sawing teeth are very sharp. Do not touch during mounting and application.
Before sawing make sure that no live cables will be damaged. The workpiece
must be inserted firmly or clamped tightly before it is processed.
Only clamp the plunge cut saw blade and saw in a straight position. For fixation use a
tightening screw with a large disc.Carefully remove the protective coating.
Always set the plunge cut saw blade straight (at 90°) and guide it in the gap without
tilting. Always guide the plunge cut saw blade along the cutting line without exerting
any pressure.
When plunging and sawing with a slight pendulum motion, make sure that sufficient
chip removal is provided for.
Keep a certain distance away fromhard metals (stone/metal) (approx. 0.118" 3mm),
since there is increased danger of the outer saw teeth breaking off.
SCRAPING
For scraping, use a high speed only. Work on a soft surface (e.g.wood) at a flat angle,
and apply only light pressure. Otherwise the scraper can cut into the surface.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
When the unit is overloaded (e.g.: the work piece is too hard or the blade is stuck),
current increases rapidly and triggers the auto cut-off which will be indicated by the
LED light flashing in red. To reset, slide the power knob to "OFF" position and restart
again after readjusting to a proper cutting pressure/angle as well as choosing of a
higher torque setting.
LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION
When the required discharging current is too high where remaining battery voltage is
not enough to drive the machine. Power supply cuts automatically and LED light goes
out. To reset, slide the power knob to "ON" position and restart.
Note: Frequent occurrence of low voltage protection indicates low battery capacity,
please recharge your battery in time.
MAINTENANCE
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
End of life electrical equipment must not be placed in household waste. Please take it
to a recyling centre. Find out about your nearest centre from your council or sales
outlet.
