OPERATION
MPORTANT CHARGING NOTES
The battery should be recharged when the tool does not operate up to its normal
performance level. Do not continue to use the tool when this occurs. Recharge
the battery at least every 6 months.
Overcharging may reduce the life of the battery. Do not leave the battery
charging for more than 1 hour.
Never charge a battery pack again immediately after it has been charged.
If the tool is not used, the battery will lose its power capacity. To ensure
maximum performance, recharge the battery after prolonged storage or non-use
periods. If charging more than one battery, wait at least fifteen minutes between
each charge.
The battery may become warm while charging. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem.
The charger requires no adjustment and is designed for ease of operation.
Simply place your battery pack into the receptacle of the plugged-in charger and
it will automatically charge your battery pack.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
WARNING! Insert the fully-charged battery. The multi-usage tool is designed for use
!
with the Model CMT110B battery pack (included) only.
To start the tool, push the On/Off switch forward.
To switch off the tool, push the On/Off switch toward the rear.
SPEED SETTING
The tool is equipped with an electrical speed adjustor. The adjusting disk is marked
with figures: "1,2,3,4,5,6." You can increase the spreed when you turn to higher
number. To decrease the speed, turn the adjusting to lower number.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Do not cover off the venting slots of the tool while working, as this reduces the
working life of your tool.
!
While working with accessories make sure that the covering of the accessories is
undamaged.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Due to the oscillating drive the application tool/accessory swings up to 18,500 times
per minute at an angle of 3°. This allows for precise work in narrow spaces.
SAWING
Use undamaged, faultless saw blades only. Deformed, blunt saw blades or saw
blades that are otherwise damaged can break.
When sawing light building materials, observe the statutory provisions and the
recommendations of the material suppliers.
Plunge cuts may only be applied to soft materials, such as wood, gypsum
plaster boards, etc.!
Before sawing with segment saw blades in wood, particle board, building materials,
etc., check these for foreign objects such as nails, screws, or similar. If required,
remove foreign objects.
