Deflating Drive Simcair
After Use Or Prior To Transport
®
Place the Drive SimCair® Mattress on the floor.
Open the zipper of the outer cover at the base to expose the black valves
and open one valve as shown in Fig. A. Close the other valve.
Use a standard vacuum and hold the hose of the vacuum over the
opened valve of the mattress until the mattress has deflated.This should
take approximately 3 to 4 minutes.
Alternatively, with both valves fully opened, roll the mattress by hand as
tightly as possible in the direction of the valve end of the mattress. You
will hear the air exhausting through the valve. When the Mattress is fully
rolled and compressed, close the valve securely as in Fig. B, it is ready for
transport.
Note: You may need to press the mattress with your knees as you are
rolling it and when it is fully rolled in order to push additional air from
the mattress.
