To Inflate The Drive Simcair
Mattress
®
Turn the valves at the foot end of the mattress Counter-Clockwise as
shown in Fig.A. Three complete turns will open the valves fully.The Drive
- Simcair® mattress will self-inflate in approximately 5-10 minutes.When
the mattress has inflated, close both valves firmly to achieve a full seal
(See Fig. B). Close the zipper of the outer cover when inner valves are
sealed and the mattress is ready for use.
DO NOT ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF AIR IN THE DRIVE SIMCAIR®
MATTRESS AFTER FIRST INFLATION. VARIABLE ADJUSTMENT WILL NOT
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL BENEFITS TO THE PATIENT. THE DRIVE - SIMCAIR®
MATTRESS IS DESIGNED TO INTAKE THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF AIR ON
FIRST INFLATION.
NOTE: The DRIVE - SIMCAIR® Mattress will require more time to self-
inflate when first removed from its original packaging. Full Self-inflation
on first use requires minimum 10 minutes with valves fully opened.
